I went there for lunch with my work colleagues. It was a nice separate area to the bars, thriving atmosphere and almost a full house. The indoor/outdoor part of the restaurant was an innovative idea for staff to nimbly go in and out. I had the fish and chips. Fish was a bit too salty but the chips were spot on!

Feels very tropical inside the restaurant, creates a relaxing vibe. The portion for the food is worth the value for money. We ordered sparkling water too but never arrived. It seems too many waitress assigned for one table is confusing. I’d definitely would love to come back again but hopefully service has improved then

A few years ago in its hay day this area used to have one of the busiest night lives in Perth. The area is still quite busy but these days its a little out of the way if you are planning a bit of a pub crawl. The pub itself is very nice with comfortable seating throughout. The staff are friendly and the food available very tasty. Prices are reasonable.

Lack of staff during our visit. No one to clean the table and it took us 5mins at the counter until someone come and attend to us.The Blue Manna Crab + Tiger Prawn fettuccine is highly recommended and the Free Range Pork Butt.

This old hotel has been done up very nicely. Plenty of seating inside and the fresco style outdoor tables make for a fantastic afternoon session. I didn't try the food. Good range of drinks although a little bit pricey. Outdoor smoking area as well. Very nice pub and I'll go back.

Had lunch here with my sister, service outstanding by staff. Ambiance was great and food just perfect. Thoroughly recommend it.

A long standing institution in Subiaco, this pub offers various areas of seating from a typical bar section with sports TVs through to a proper sit down dining area. The fancier area offers table service whilst the other areas require you to order at the bar.The food from a not too exciting menu is average for a pub, with the burger tasting very good for a pub burger, but the chicken parmigiana was a bit bland and unexciting. There's a good range of drinks available including beers, cider and ginger beer on tap.Service was friendly and overall very good.

Great bar but I am giving one star simply on terrible service.Given that the bar is OFTEN understaffed, it is essential to make sure your bar staff are trained .... they need to have a BASIC AWARENESS of who next to serve. There's nothing more frustrating than waiting to be served and watching customers who arrived after you get served. Some staff NEVER LOOK BEYOND WHO STEPS IN FRONT OF THEM. A fundamental part of being a bar person is knowing who is next... BARSTAFF 101. Start with the tall Asian looking man with tied up ponytail...

A delightful local watering hole in the heart of Subiaco.Apart from cheap pints, the Subi offers dinner specials from Mondays to Thursdays. Eg Tuesdays are Steak nights, and ribs & chips are offered on Thursdays.There's also local live music on most nights.We had the Ribs on our Thu night visit. Excellent value for money, definitely worth another visit to check out the remaining specials!Want to try a different local, then check out the Subi!
